People who’ve never been to LA don't understand LA Halloween.

We had some friends visiting - my buddy Daniel from Australia and another guy named Kemp (who's in 8AM World) from the Netherlands.

They had never been to an LA Halloween.

I told them: "Guys, it's not cheap. You have to buy a pretty expensive table for $7,500, and that’s the cheapest option. But it's not just a little costume party. People go ALL OUT and it’s just an experience you need to have at least once.”

As you can tell from me and Chloe's costume, it's a whole thing.

Tyler Durden & Marla… iykyk

We're walking around. We see a bunch of people we know. Friends. And everything's decorated incredibly well.

You go inside and the music starts to pick up.

When you enter the main dance floor room - which had two levels - it really felt like a movie.

Curtains open and the music just hits you. The dance floor was packed and people were actually on the dance floor dancing. No phones. Imagine that in 2025?

It's always awkward when you go to a party and people aren't actually dancing. But this dance floor was absolutely packed. It literally felt like a movie.

I'd just like to say well done to Luciano who threw the party. He's a notorious party thrower in LA. Shout out to him. Very well done.

We ended up again at 4 in the morning at Mel's Diner. Chocolate chip Skims pancakes. They were delicious. 4AM kim k pancakes AGAIN.

Then we went to bed, 6am.

That was the night.

And all the while this was happening, on the other side of the spectrum, Chloe's cousin just gave birth to a baby boy.

This cousin is someone Chloe grew up with - basically a brother and sister to her.

They went into labor the night we were going out and had the baby last night at 10:40 PM.

We're going to go see the baby boy later today.

This whole juxtoposition reminds me of the song I just put out.

If you haven't listened to it yet, it's called The Sages of Old. [Listen here]

The reason it reminds me of all this is because the song is about light and dark. About not being afraid of dark energy.

I think when you're afraid of things - when you're afraid of people or dark energy - that's the only way it has power and control over you.

But if you look at it for what it is, which is just darkness and not necessarily inherently bad or threatening, then that's when you truly transcend.

That's when you're able to move throughout life with pure happiness and pure joy. With no shackles on you.

Because fear can shackle you. Fear can control you.

Obviously people use darkness for bad aims. But darkness itself isn't arbitrarily bad.

That's what the song I just put out is about.

If you listen to it, you'll kind of get a sense of that.

Comparing and contrasting Halloween and having a baby...

Halloween energy is darker energy. Especially in LA.

Even the house we were in - Chloe felt it was haunted.

And actually, a guy we walked by had basically passed out from a drug thing and had to be Narcan’ed back to consciousness.

So you know, there definitely are dark forces out there.

But I think you really have to have a sense of morality, a moral compass, to even know what good and bad is in the first place.

But that's for an entirely separate email.

Anyway, go listen to the new song.

I'm about to jump on a podcast.

I'll see you tomorrow.
