New Song by Arlin - The Sages of Old (out now)

Last night we went out to a Halloween party.

Friends visiting from Australia, the Netherlands, Chile.

The energy was typical first night out LA halloween. Costumes, music, halloween magic in the air.

And at 3 AM, we ended up at Mel's Diner getting chocolate chip kim kardashian skims pancakes.

Pure ridiculousness.

Everyone still half in costume, laughing, eating 3am kim k pancakes.

I woke up at 10am, and guess what - The Sages of Old is out today.

This song will make you MOVE.

And I'm not gonna lie - I think I channeled some spirits on this one.

But hear me out.

There are light spirits. There are dark spirits.

And then there are the fun, dark spirits. The ones that dance in the darkness, but they’re just having a good time. Kind of like the energy of a good haunted house. You go into a haunted house knowing people are going to jump scare you, but you go anyway because it’s fun. That type of energy.

That's what this song is.

But tbh, on a deeper level than haunted houses. More like the energy of dark good spirits flying into this realm to help you spiritually ascend… These spirits go into your darkness, and lift you up.

One of the issues I have with traditional Christianity is the fear.

The fear of everything.

Like you can't even have fun because everything's a sin or a threat or some demonic conspiracy.

But my friend Michael has this concept he calls Primal Law.

And part of it is this: there is both light and dark in the world, but dark isn't necessarily bad.

You need to learn how to navigate the dark in order to navigate the light.

Elon Musk said something similar once. He said when he was a kid, he was afraid of the dark until he realized that darkness is just the absence of photons.

Darkness is not evil or bad.

Society just gave it a mask. And some people use darkness for bad. So we decided darkness means danger.

But really? Everything just is. Everything comes from the same source of love and truth.

The Sages of Old is about ascension over this duality.

It's about a time when you truly connect spiritually and fear dissolves.

The end of struggle. The end of strife.

The moment you finally ascend into total light, love, and happiness.

To me, this song is the final spiritual battle before you break through into total ecstasy.

It's the energy of transformation, shedding the old self, rising.

And it feels right to release it during Halloween season. During spooky season. During the time when the veil is thin and we're all playing with shadows.

I woke up late today.

We got home around 4 AM. I slept in. But when I woke up, I still did my morning routine.

Meditation. Prayer. Stillness.

And I still have Ben on my mind.

His commitment to showing up daily. His dedication to the craft. His willingness to channel what was coming through him without overthinking it.

This tweet from Ben below has been on my mind nonstop. It actually holds the secret to life.

That's what the new song is for me.
