I'm just about to go down and check the mailbox.

Excited.

I'm looking to see if my first set of lessons have come in from Paramahansa Yogananda and his Self-Realization Fellowship — the legendary Kriya lessons.

So for those that don't know, I've been into Paramahansa Yogananda's path of prayer and meditation since the beginning of 2024, so almost 2 yrs now.

I actually first read Autobiography of a Yogi back in college—but I got a lot more into it when I unknowingly moved out to LA right next door to one of his founding headquarter ashrams called Lake Shrine.

So I lived next door to this ashram for a year. And that is where I made the 8AM album.

And THEN, after the album was done the whole neighborhood got burned down in the Palisades fires.

And all the while I was practicing these meditation techniques that are in the first set of 18 lessons - the lessons are basically about prayer, meditation philosophy and direct experience of God.

They get sent out to you every two weeks, but I finished them a few months ago and graduated from step one basically.

And so now I am on the highest path available - the path of Kriya (yes I’m a legit becoming a yogi master now, sort of) which is basically like the ultimate method of ascension on the spiritual path to unite your soul with God.

Basically getting my black belt in meditation.

All that hype for nothing. I just checked the mailbox and sadly, the lessons haven’t come yet.

All I can say is that doing these lessons has brought me so much peace and joy and clarity — more than really any other practice or routine that I've ever done.

Aside from… I must say… legitimately… the 8AM app (formerly Maxi).

I tell everyone who has been signing up for 8AM World Uluwatu 2026 to get on the lessons. I think I've got like at least 5 guys to get on them and take them seriously, and I would really encourage you to check them out, especially if you've already read Autobiography of a Yogi.

But alas, sadly, no Kriya lessons for me today.

So today is November 6th.

Man, what a weird year this has been.

I'm just starting to kind of get into that reflection stage.

I feel like - I mean, there's only less than two months left this year…

It was certainly one of the weirdest years of my life, starting off with the fires in the Palisades.

I would say it was probably the year that the hand of God seemed to just throw the most curveballs.

Like wtf - I was basically a New York City finance bro for the whole first quarter.

And then I went into travel ho DJ mode.

I was performing DJ sets in Austin, Texas, New York, Bali, Colombia.

Had a whole life in Bali for six weeks - riding around free as a bird on a scooter, surfing, working out at honestly the greatest gym in the world. Like what an insane contrast from NYC fintech dude.

Whenever I think about that gym in Bali, my heart just lights up. That gym is one of the happiest, best places in the world.

After Bali I went back and had family time on Cape Cod for another curveball in energy - Playing tennis with Chloe and my mom. Mornings on the porch reading philosophy and religion and business books with my dad. Seeing old friends, hanging out at the Daily Brew (local coffee shop i grew up going to).

And then coming into the end of my time on the Cape, I launched the 8AM World Uluwatu vision.

btw check this song - this is what i’m listening to as i write this.

But yeah - Uluwatu - we had first ten guys sign up. You can learn more and apply here.

We locked in the set of luxury villas on the 200-foot cliff in Bali, and that's happening.

And in the last month now, I've started rebuilding my team. No not everyone is Ai. I have humans.

I think I've also done eight podcasts in the last eight weeks.

Which reminds me, a new one just came out today, where I talk a lot about Bitcoin. I’ll link at bottom of this email.

I do my best on all the podcasts that I go on to make them interesting for you, because I know a lot of podcast hosts like to get the whole background story on people.

But I think I'm just going to start telling hosts that I don't want to do any more background because if people want to know my background, they can watch any number of podcasts that do have it.

So in this one, I talk about stuff I've never really talked about before. Bitcoin being one of them So I hope it's a gateway for you down the Bitcoin rabbit hole.

So yeah, it's been a crazy year.

To end the year I’m like a complete tech ho nerd - working on the 8AM app.

Yesterday, I spent the entire day working on what I'm calling the 8AM Ascension Scrolls, which are basically kind of like a manifesto of all the most important stories from my life and also the lessons that I've learned.

Anyone who signs up to my newsletter or to the 8AM app will get them sent out to them every Sunday. It's a whole series.

Today I'm finalizing those letters.

So yeah, that's pretty much it for today.

I'm going to go hit a workout.

Hope you enjoyed this.

I'll see you tomorrow.

And P.S., as always, I love to see feedback and kind of make these emails back and forth.

So feel free to respond to this email or just message me on Instagram.

Talk soon.
