Sometimes it amazes me.
With all the travels I've done - Lake Como, Mykonos, all the absurdly expensive travels and dinners and nonsense - it always amazes me how little it takes to bring me to a 9 or 10 out of 10 level of happiness.
It's morning in the town of ‘Truth or Consequences’.
I'm sitting next to a fire in the backyard of our clay hut, which is stacked to the brim with incredible literature and artifacts from around the world.
Light shimmered through the windows this morning. A crystal in the window pane threw tiny rainbows across the room.
Now, shins and knees warmed by the fire, I'm eating fresh hand-cut oats with apple and banana. Hot cup of coffee.
There's a cat trying to eat my oatmeal. He's hungry.
My dad just walked out with his bowl and the cat's trying to get inside.
Reading, watching the light pour itself through the fire.
Birds in the distance.
That's it for now.
Just wanted to share this moment with you.
Talk soon.
