So it's day one of my annual father-son trip.

And I'm writing this to you from a town called Truth or Consequences.

Yes, that's the actual name of the town.

And I've been thinking a lot about that name… Truth or consequences.

My take - the truth isn't just what you say or believe. It's what you let fuel you, and how you act.

Let me explain.

Yesterday I touched down in El Paso, picked up a Ford Bronco, and drove north with my dad.

We stopped for prime rib at a Texan Steakhouse called Cattle Baron, then drove another hour and a half to this little old Western town - Truth or Consequences.

My dad remembered it from old Western TV show that was filmed here growing up. They actually named the town after the show I guess.

We showed up to our Airbnb at 10 PM - this little Native American-looking clay hut.

You walk inside and it's like a total museum. Old record player, Bob Dylan records, a library of vintage books (I found what looks like a first edition Moby Dick), polished rocks, bull skulls, African statues, Native American engravings.

We spent 30 minutes just listening to Bob Dylan and sorting through all the treasures in this place.

Then we knocked out.

This morning I woke up at the crack of dawn, grabbed some coffee in the little town, and did my prayer / meditation practice.

And during that meditation, I had a few insights come to me.

One was thinking about Jesus and how he spoke… which I believe is God the Father speaking through him.

Every morning in my prayer, I ask the Holy Spirit, the highest power of good that exists, to operate through me.

I put my will aside, put my desires aside, and just let God use me however He sees fit.

To be a vessel for truth and love.

And here's what's become really clear to me lately:

It's not those who just talk about God and spread His name to promote self-righteousness.

It's really about those who do good deeds, smile, and spread the actions.

Let me give you an example.

Something I've always done - even back in my college days at Boston University - was silently wishing people a good day as I'd pass them on the street.

I'd be walking to class down Commonwealth Avenue, thousands of people around, and every single person I walked by, I'd just smile and wish them well. A silent little prayer.

This put me in a great open energy state, and I like to think they receive that good energy and it helps them too.

Over the years, as I've gotten more into focusing on Christ and powers of the most high, and I've shifted to silently making a prayer over people I see in need. Rather than just smiling and wishing them well.

But I realized and was thinking about this yesterday… I saw this one guy in the airport at LAX who just looked really down and honestly kind of creepy and scary.

And I noticed myself A, judging, and B, wanting to not really even look at him and just do this half-assed silent prayer for him. Lol!

But I was thinking, you know, people who are really down probably want some love. They probably want a smile or some acknowledgement at least.

They don't necessarily need you to preach at them, but just act.

Just act with love.

And that alone is communicating the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ to people.

Especially to people who aren't religious or maybe turned off by it - just give them kind behavior.

It's kind of like God acting through you in disguise.

This is something I'm reflecting on because on these trips with my dad, I've noticed he always treats people so beautifully, no matter who they are.

Whether it's a gas station worker or a clerk, he always tries to make them smile and make their day.

And that, I believe, is such a beautiful thing.

Truth or consequences.

The truth is living with love and kindness.

The consequence is the heaven or hell you create around you.

So I'll be thinking about that a lot this week.

I hope you do too.

Just give a stranger a smile. Wish them well. And do something nice.

And yeah, I'm going to enjoy my coffee and do some reading.

I've got Moby Dick and a book on writing by Stephen King.

So hopefully I can improve the writing here.

Talk soon.

P.S. I'm doubling down on filling out all the spots for the 8AM World Uluwatu experience.

We have about 10 spots taken. And have 60 spots left.

If you are someone (or if you know someone) who is extremely skilled in a particular area, who is an artist, a craftsman, who doesn't care about flexing watches or money or cars, and who wants to be around people building things that shape and change culture, then I want to see you in Uluwatu in 2026.

But even more importantly, I want to have you be a part of this group over the next year as we build our sh*t together.

Every high level guy needs a mastermind.

And I think I'm building the coolest one on the planet.

So if you don't want to be in a group of people thinking the same exact things, if you want to be around people with diverse mindsets building very unique things that are imprinted on their soul to create, then apply.

I want to see you inside.

And if you know someone, please refer them.
